Strathclyde End of Year Exhibition

Successful Tiree Business Centre Presentation

Roots were delighted to present a number of design options for the Crossapol Business Centre at a recent open day at An Talla, Tiree. Tiree Community Business (TCB) commissioned the practice to investigate different ways that the existing building could be renovated or extended to provide alternative facilities for the community to use as part of a Big Lottery Funding Application. Read more


Roots to present at Public Meeting

Roots Director’s Chris and Micheal are to present at a public Open Meeting this Monday. Roots have been commissioned to produce a feasibility study to examine the potential development of the Community Business Centre on Tiree. The practice have produced a number of strategic design ideas that are to be exhibited and presented to the public to gauge opinion.  Read more


Roots Director becomes Chartered Architect

Having passed his Part 3 Professional Exam earlier this year, Micheal is pleased to announce that he has been accepted to join the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). Read more


Roots become professionally accredited

Roots are pleased to announce that the practice have joined the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS). Although the practice successfully managed to operate for a year without the accreditation, both practice Directors felt that the qualification helped set a threshold of professional service which Clients should expect. Read more
