Scottish Museum Entrance LobbyThe Team visited the newly refurbished Scottish Museum at the weekend. The Museum has recently reopened following a £47.4m refit, with sixteen new galleries and more than 8,000 objects on display. Dr Gordon Rintoul, National Museums Scotland Director is quoted on the BBC website as saying, ‘The result is a new National Museum of Scotland, a place where the cultures of Scotland and the world meet, and the arts and sciences connect.’

Roots Director Chris commented, ‘Both the original Victorian building and the Contemporary extension are two of my favourite buildings. The new refurbishment only contributes to them. It is an atmospheric, well proportioned space that provides a fantastic entrance to the Museum.’
