Roots visit Mull

Isle of Mull Visit February 2012Roots have just returned from a tour of the Isle of Mull.  The Team spent 2 days travelling around the central and northern areas of the island, visiting Craignure, Calgary and Tobermory.

Roots were able to catch up with some of their existing Clients, but they also held 2 public design workshops.  The first of these was in Aros Hall in Tobermory.  The second workshop was in An Roth, MICT’s headquarters in Craignure.  At both events the Team set-up their office and spoke to members of the public about any architectural or energy projects they had.

Chris, one of Roots’ Directors, said, ‘Once again we had a fantastic time on Mull.  We met so many new people with a story to tell about living on the island.  We really enjoy learning about a place like this.

Micheal, Roots’ other Director added, ‘It is great to be able to take our office to places like Mull and to make ourselves available to as many people as possible.  We can’t wait to go back there!’

Roots stayed at the Old Schoolhouse B&B between Dervaig and Calgary, and would like to thank their hosts David and Katja for their hospitality.
