Taventaggart CottageThis month Roots Design Workshop was awarded its first appointment in Kintyre.  The project is to conceive designs for the development of an historic stone cottage near Tayinloan village.

The building was once home to the last Scottish Archbishop of Canterbury and has a roof constructed from ship wrecked timber.  Roots Design Workshop has been asked to create a design that will turn the building into a contemporary holiday home.

Roots Design Workshop Director Chris commented, ‘It is a wonderful opportunity to work on a building with such character and history. It will be a great challenge to maintain that while bringing the building up to modern performance standards and tastes’.

Roots Design Workshop has begun working on proposals with their Clients; please keep an eye on our website for future updates.
