Tiree Baptist Church
- Baugh, Isle of Tiree
- Feb 2011
This intensive Design and Energy workshop was held with the Baptist Church on Tiree. The weekend long event looked at how the existing Church building at Baugh (shown opposite) could be developed so that it meets the modern day needs of the Congregation.
The workshop provided an open forum to encourage input on all design aspects of the project. This involved Roots Design Workshop setting up their studio in the Church on Saturday afternoon and coordinating and recording a discussion with the Congregation as to what the priorities of the project were.
The Team then compiled the results of this discussion and worked through Saturday evening to produce a number of design options. These were then presented to the Congregation on Sunday morning and followed by an open questions and answers session.
The Congregation are currently considering how best to progress the project.
